Whats wrong with modding? As long as the devs keep it from affecting online play i dont see an issue. Yeah it's super easy to mod this game. The first was NPC characters being playable. After people including me realized how easy it was,everybody started to experiment.

I'm on the MKSecrets website, and I can't find a thread in clear, coherent English that easily explains modding for this title. I just got this during the summer sale, and I'm loving it, but wanted to add Savini's Jason skin and a new Kano skin. But I can't tell what applies to the X version of the game, or XL, or if modders are using illegal copies, or what's going on.

Can somebody clearly explain whether mods are possible with the Steam XL updated version of the game? They helped me a lot i bought the wrong version mkx mods mk9 longer time ago and it not worked because i bought a russian key, mkx mods.

You need to first open the game,then mod. I think it is enter. MKXHook only works with latest Steam version! That's kinda how I like my mods, as if it's just an enhanced version of the game.
