Having explored the use of woods, such as iroko and teak, with Patio, designed by Italian-Danish studio GamFratesi, Minotti proposes an unexpected mix of different materials: aluminium, wood, stone, cord. The outdoor seating system, with its highly versatile modularity, is conceived as a dynamic mosaic, composed of tesserae in simple geometric shapes, which can be pieced together as desired, and reconfigured to suit the available space and the mood to be created. A solution capable of meeting the requirements of both small metropolitan terraces, and extensive outdoor spaces, thanks to the two depths: 83 and 98 cm. The variety of potential compositions becomes even more interesting when the selected materials are masterfully combined: the extruded aluminium base with matt finish in the shades of Ecru and Dark Brown is accompanied by steel backrests, covered in woven polypropylene cord in the same shades, according to a Scandinavian-type geometric design. Some of the seating elements feature a handy tray in Dark Brown stained solid mahogany or in natural teak, with grooves for draining water, attached to the structure.

The contoured and fine-grain polished Basaltine stone version undergoes a unique stain-resistant treatment and has a stainless steel base with a polished Bronze or Pewter, or matt Ecru or Dark Brown finish with epoxy paint varnishes that guarantee colour stability over time. The variant with a teak top in a natural finish has a structural stainless steel frame, featuring a Bronze-coloured shiny varnish, or a matt Ecru or Dark Brown finish to match that of the base. The tables can be completed by adding the Lazy Susan swivel tray, 60 cm in diameter, made of fine-grained brushed Basaltine stone with a contoured edge and chamfered lower part. The juxtaposition of the individual elements creates a style that is decisive and strongly characteristic, yet delicate and light thanks to its suspended, aerial feet. In the new teak version, an evolution of the family originally in aluminium, the warmth of wood combines with careful technological research in the wooden supporting structure: a slender but solid platform made of a wood that is smooth to the touch and resistant to atmospheric agents, supported by elegant Bronze-coloured aluminium feet, this is Patio Teak. The wooden frame, chosen to create a more natural aesthetic that is easier to combine with other furnishing pieces in the outdoor collection, thus joins the version with aluminium base, borrowing the structure of its backrest in Ecru polypropylene rope. All the elements share the same feet and the same joints at the back in die-cast aluminium, varnished with a refined polished, anti-touch Bronze finish. A dynamic, harmonious architecture characterises the indoor scenarios of the new campaign, drawing a fluid space where graceful walls in wood and plaster alternate with large windows. Unexpected combinations of textures and materials reflected in the volumes and materiality of the furnishing elements recreate a concept of the home with a bold personality and a sophisticated, contemporary soul. Two distinctive images interpret the Daniels seating system and its concept of extreme modularity and maximum comfort. One is perfect for hosting guests and features a curved amphitheatre-like shape.
