Gamemode 4 is a collection of Minecraft command datapacks designed to change and enhance the survival experience.

Gamemode 4 was a Survival Multiplayer where they used command blocks to attempt to replicate the feel of modded Minecraft in vanilla. Gamemode 4 was started in May and lasted through July. The map was modified using 'Gamemode 4' , a popular command block modification created by Accidental Games , Eeasemaps and Bluefire The world is 10, by 10, blocks and has custom terrain. An easy to notice mod is desire lines: when a player walks over a grass block, it gets changed into a dirt block, and if it is passed over again, it is changed into coarse dirt. This feature is intended to mimic real life and would form natural pathways in the game, just like in real life. They also used a custom texture pack so some materials were different such as the 'Red wood'.

Gamemode 4 is a collection of Minecraft command datapacks designed to change and enhance the survival experience. Each pack adds a set of custom features to the game; they can vary in size with some adding small features like exploding bats or naturally generating paths , while others add complex mechanics such as magic potion brewing or custom ores. Each is carefully balanced and designed to work well in survival, as well as compliment our other datapacks. The project was originally created by Sparks , but is now open source on Github. It is now run by the wider Admin team. To install Gamemode 4 modules onto your server or single player world, download the data pack from the Gamemode 4 website and insert the data pack zip folder into the datapacks folder in the world you wish to install the module in.

Gamemode 4 Gm4 is a collection of carefully constructed datapack modules that can be easily added to your Minecraft world to add to your gameplay experience without the need for mods all while keeping the vanilla feel. GM4 had developed a community discord with over members currently with a large amount of them being active on the discord. Currently all the datapacks are now hosted on both the website and the GitHub making it easily then every to contribute with over 20 contributors so far. It has also have over combined pull requests and issues. About a year after gm4 was born a public server was formed to allow members of the community to play with the modules and play with each other.
