Under our roof, we have six food allergies between two children: dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, flax and mustard. Prior to food allergies, dining out was something we enjoyed, and Milestones was one of our of go-to spots. Once food allergies entered the picture, something as simple as going out for dinner became extremely complicated and stressful. It takes time to figure out if a spot is a safe place for our children.

Server immediately understood « celiac » and ensured that the order would be prepared separately and safely. They were attentive and knowledgeable about celiac and gluten. The veggy burger had gluten so this was the substitute. I highly recommend. Loved it- they all have good knowledge about celiac and cross contamination. Our waiter was fabulous. Specifically asked if we were dealing with a coeliac or not. Tailored the menu perfectly for our 7 yo, who had a delicious GF burger and mashed potatoes. Absolutely love their torte! One of the best gluten free desserts. Staff aware of gf and cooks make effort to accommodate by adapting the menu. Real tasty. They were so meticulous but also fun loving w having children in the later hours due to travel. Most delicious burger and the beat buns I have ever eaten. The server was very contentious and even found the name of the bun for me.

Milestones at Pinecrest is one of my favourite restaurants and I have been fortunate to have David as our server many times. Had another great meal 2. Well, there you have it folks. Because Milestones takes food allergies seriously, their staff receives training with a specific unit on allergy awareness, including how to keep their customers safe from the moment a customer has identified themselves as having food allergies, through the meal preparation and cooking process, to the delivery of the meal. I didn't find the server very attentive to my gluten issues. Waiter was very knowledgeable and even brought my plate out separately to not cross contaminate.
