Hello Wednesday Walkers!

Our grandkids love Dr. Our day began with needing to be out of our house for a few hours. The contractors working to complete the gramophone museum being built next door discovered evidence of termites — a definite problem for a place planned to house vintage wooden cabinetry and gorgeous wooden gramophone horns. Ted and I had been talking about visiting another couple of small museums very near here anyway, so needing to be out for a few hours made those museums and a late breakfast the order of the day. The architectural project was carried out by the Italian architect Enrico Deserti.

Our grandkids love Dr. I arrived really early, the sun had just risen and it was very cloudy, but in spite of that the first impression was very pleasant, the place has always been well kept and I like that they keep it that way, as you can see in the photo above, there is a central square and from there many paths lead off, it really is a big place, in fact I think I need to return one day that is not a school day to take pictures of everything that is there, at the moment I could only take pictures from the entrance to the University facilities, which is actually a museum that is located in the park; But that short walk is so beautiful that you just have to have your camera at hand and walk slowly to get some of the wonders that the park has to offer.
