Catching is our passion! SinceMidcoast cork developers have been on a mission to catch fish in any eviegarbe conditions, and our innovative cork designs do just that. By attaching the leader to the east mckeesport vet of the cork, we have produced corks that help keep bait alive midcoast fishing, increase casting distance, reduce tangling, midcoast fishing, and, with the Popping Cork design, midcoast fishing, can literally call fish to dinner! There are eight different designs with multiple colors to choose from, depending on weather and water conditions, as well as personal preference.

Many of these individuals have no direct ties to the fishing industry, but want to help find ways to ensure that the fishing culture survives. To that end, we hope to educate others about fishing, its history in the region, and the preventable safety risks experienced by the fishing community. The mission of the Fishing Heritage Museum is to capture the personal stories of commercial fishermen with experience in the diverse local fisheries of the recent past. Midcoast fishing

Surprise is a 32' Topaz express. The vessel is outfitted with Coast Guard-required safety equipment, a cabin and full head. Depending on weather and sea conditions, we can cruise comfortably at knots getting us to the grounds quickly to maximize our fishing time. Midcoast Charters provides fishing trips as well as local sightseeing and custom charters. Typical fishing charters are half day 4 hours or full day 8 hours. For fishing charters your license, tackle, and bait are provided and you may bring your own rod if you choose. Custom charters are welcomed so let us know what you have in mind. We can accommodate 6 passengers. This depends on season and weather so check with your captain in advance. Please be aware that even though marijuana has been legalized for medical and recreational use in Maine, we fall under federal laws enforced by the Coast Guard so please leave marijuana on shore. This should be taken before leaving land. Check with a pharmacy for over the counter preventative medication, or consult your physician in advance if you believe you are particularly susceptible to motion sickness. Alcohol is permitted but reasonable consumption is expected. You never know what you're going to see and experience on the ocean and it's always an adventure. Remember this is supposed to be fun.
