This place exceeded my expectations. Portions are HUGE! I ordered the Turkey Club Sandwich and I highly recommend that but you will not be able to finish it! The decor is great and our waitress was phenomenal. I went with a friend at lunchtime and I had the pulled BBQ pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. My friend had fish and fries. The service was great and our waiter was very attentive.

I had such a fantastic evening at Mel's diner tonight, thanks to Debra's excellent service! The appetizers, fried pickles, and onion rings were spot on - just the perfect start to a relaxed meal. And, as always, the salmon was wonderful.
