About 5 days ago I was driving about 45mph and was in 5th gear and out of no where it downshifted into 3rd very hard causing my whole car to jerk and almost stop in the middle of the road. The next day I was on the highway going 70 and the same thing happened, was in 5th, went to 3rd and jerked my whole car again even worse. I drove it 3 more days very easily to work and home and it progressively got worse, downshifting 3 or 4 times a day so I finally parked it and am driving a back up vehicle.

I noticed the car has stalled out in idle during cold start a few times, weeks within owning the car and hasn't done it since. But i still have the issue where it idles low at times during cold start and revs up and down under 1k rpms. Im not sure if its a fuel pump issue or what. I notice every cold start drive like clock work it makes a distinct spring click sound i can hear right when the car hits just about 2k rpm on second gear.
