History shows that Spring is one of the more spectacular times to visit Mayfield Garden - it literally explodes in colour.

Commencing in , the full hectare Mayfield Garden will be open everyday. This means that you will get to see all the features of the garden - including the box hedge maze, water garden, chapel, herbaceous border and Mayfield lake - every time you visit. Final Garden entry is at 3 PM. Your garden entry ticket is valid for the date issued only and you can enter any time from 9 AM until 3 PM on that date. There will be no refunds due to adverse weather conditions or any areas of Mayfield Garden being closed for maintenance, special events or for any other reason.

During the day Autumn Festival, the Hawkins Family Garden is open to visitors so this is your opportunity to explore the entire 65 hectares of Mayfield. In Autumn, our rowboats are available on Mayfield Lake at no additional cost and our interactive games are scattered throughout the garden for your family and friends to enjoy. Being a cool climate garden, we feature many varieties of deciduous trees which offer an array of Autumn colours. There is a courtesy bus making several stops around the garden. You can book your ticket in advance online to avoid lines or at the ticket office on the day you arrive. The local discount is only available in the ticket office and requires proof of residency.
