While working in the shop, Matt enjoys a practice he calls "fabricobbling," or fabricating without an in-depth plan. He is overly fond of sampling blisteringly hot welds, and has had a passion for collecting Chevrolet Corvairs from an early age. During winter weather, Matt is known for his high cold tolerance, which he associates with Wim Hof.
