Masterduel banlist
In YuGiOh Master Duel , Forbidden Cards are essentially just what they say on the packaging: cards banned from being played due them being deemed too powerful for the current meta. The Banlist is unique to this version of the game though, so you might not always be able to build the exact same deck you can in the physical TCG. As mentioned, Forbidden Cards are the ones Konami outright bans you from adding to your deck. They're marked with a red circle icon when you choose the card in the deck editor, and if that weren't enough of a sign, you can't add them to your deck.
