Once they are take care of, grab the salvage worth credits and head inside the facility to pick up a med-kit. To the left and down the stairs by the crashed Alliance shuttles are 2 audio logs, left behind by civilians by the sound of them. To the right is an elevator that will take Shepard up to the tower. Check the body for this weapon mod. If you take cover between the two doors, you should be able to destroy the Barrier Engines through either doorway without taking fire, which will make your fight a little easier.
