The Big in Japan season pass takes a stroll through the X-Men and Wolverine's history in Japan, beginning in Sendai, where players can get their hands on a Daken full name Daken Akihiro , who is Wolverine's son. He offers a new option for destroy and discard-based decks. Rewards for the season include the base Daken card, X and Daken-themed card backs, and avatars and variants featuring mecha versions of Daken, Iceman, and Magneto. In addition to Wolverine's son, Daken, the season also introduces another new card in Wolverine's daughter, X , to Marvel Snap. X also offers new options to discard and destroy decks. Two classic Wolverine villains also join Marvel Snap this month. Its On Reveal ability forces each player to discard the lowest-Power card in their hand. These cards will debut throughout August. With an all-new card-acquisition system, Marvel Snap is bound to bring more Series 4 and 5 cards to the game. But the best thing about Spotlight Caches is that its cards will be pre-announced, so players can decide which ones to invest in. July seems to be one of the most lucrative months for the Spotlight Cache hunters, as it features some of the most in-demand characters like High Evolutionary, a Big Bad Card. But Master Mold and Thanos are also popular cards in Pool 3 decks. Each week, Marvel Snap will add one brand-new Series 4 or 5 card to the existing lineup—along with two cards from the previous week and one random card. And players who open four of them in a week will be able to access all four featured cards. If the player already owns the Spotlight Cache card, it will be replaced with a random Series 4 or 5 card automatically. Each month, Marvel Snap will release the list of upcoming Spotlight Cache cards through the in-game news section and on their social media.

Conquest is a bit of a weird place right after the beginning of a season. On the one hand, we have players who want to test some original ideas without the risk of losing their rank on the Ladder. Those players will typically populate the Proving Grounds, which can make the lower league a bit of a mess with any kind of deck appearing at random whenever you queue into a match. If you go a little higher, the Silver and Gold leagues feature less of those innovative brews, and the more reliable archetypes become much more popular. As you can probably guess, there will be a lot of familiar faces on this list; we are just days after the start of the season, so brand new synergies might need a bit more time to develop. Also, as most of the action is typically happening on the Ladder in the first week, Conquest will have much fewer games played compared to the rest of the season. The Move synergy is doing great currently, pushed by the new Spider-Man and Kraven finally feeling like a powerhouse.
