Borderlands 3 is rife with memorable side missions, many of which have you, the rogue Vault Hunter , aiding various factions and individuals to help them achieve their ends. One such mission is a bounty hunt known as Maliwannabees. This optional mission tasks you with assisting a girl named Ziff. The scorned Promethean seeks revenge on a nefarious pair of bandits, who has murdered her family. Naturally, Ziff calls upon you as her weapon of choice to hunt down and exact some vigilante justice on these foes. This guide will cover the step-by-step details of how to find this quest, how to complete it, and the details behind the apparent "choose-your-own-ending" that concludes it. You'll soon find the shoddily-built "headquarters" of Rax and Max , who will waste no time trying to gun you down. They are standing in the area just beyond the large pillar with graffiti. This is where the so-called "multiple choice" ending occurs, as you can choose which of the bandits to kill. Regardless of whether you kill Rax or Max, the quest will end in the same way, and you'll receive the same reward. They aren't too difficult to take down, but be sure to avoid the troublesome pit in the center of the area. Killing both bandits, while slaying all remaining troopers, will allow you to get the extra cash reward mentioned earlier. This optional task will initiate a few moments after slaying one of the bandits—after Ziff has decides you may as well take out the other troops and remaining bandit. In many of the regions you'll explore across the galaxy, you'll find discarded logs from the first Vault Hunter - Typhon. By interacting with and reading all of his logs in a region, Tannis can triangulate the position of a lost Typhon Dead Drop - and you can stand to gain a ton of loot from these hidden chests. The first Typhon Log can be found close to the Bandit Outpost is where you're sent to kill Dumptruck, north of the Crimson Raiders outpost where you must drive over the gap. From the outpost, head left until you are overlooking a valley where a Legendary Hunt is, and look to the side of an abandoned bus to find the log perched on the edge. The second Typhon Log can be found outside of the Crimson Raiders Drydock on the southern entrance, heading right from the outpost at the start of the region - not far from Tannis' Dig Site. It's located on a pile of large rocks to the side of the road leading to the drydock, and surrounded by a skag nest you'll need to clear out before you can reach it. The final log location is found on the edge of a bandit base where you need to obtain an Astronav Chip during the Main Mission, Taking Flight.
