Four kids meet up in a skate park and three of them tell stories about encountering Batman that day fighting a masked man with a jetpack. Then, the real Batman bursts into the skate park chasing the jet pack man and the fourth kid is able to save Batman by clocking the dude on the head with his skateboard. Torchesandaardvarks noted in the comments that Gotham Knight is just worse versions of Batman the Animated Series episodes. The message of that episode outside of a mean and low-key homophobic jab at Joel Schumacher is that Batman is vast, contains multitudes and that every interpretation and version is wonderful. One kid thinks he looks like a shadow monster, one kid thinks he looks like a bat monster. One kid claims to see Batman just emerging from the ground like liquid shadow. I guess this version of Batman does wear hockey pads.

I have had this post simmering in my mind for a while now, and am excited that I have a bit of free time to do it. I saw a few that were just kinda meh. However, there are a few that stand out. Honestly, I stumbled across this on Amazon Prime while I was sick. Looked intriguing and up my alley. I know nothing of the books or the previous movie. I liked the whole vibe!! The show gave me Sherlock vibes which surprised me as before this I had not found anything close to Sherlock. The acting was well done in my opinion. Point Blanc was intriguing, but the show hit its stride in the second season. Likable characters and it is relatively clean. I was browsing with my sister to find something short to watch.

I'm not disagreeing, but somehow, I never read these things about Mission: Impossible or James Bond movies. I enjoyed it so much that I have seen it twice: once in theaters, once with the family. It explained why Natasha was the way she is. Neal might just make a few friends along the way. Amy is sweet, but a bit over the top for my taste. For me, I just did not care one way or another about her mission. I think this is a fun, light series, kind of a fantasy, with stunning Paris surroundings. Yet, it also a reason I like it. There is some mild cartoon violence and a bit of name calling, but surprisingly not a lot of potty humor. Content — Not much there.
