Lord of the rings english subtitle

Howdy, I'm trying to do a backup of my copy of Lord of the Rings, I want to encode permanent subtitles in English, but only the subtitle track that contains the Elvish translations. Only problem is that I select "English" as the priority subtitles, and then go to the option under "go" to see a frame, and it has the German subtitle, get another frame, the English one, and not the Elvish translation, the normal subtitles! Anyone have an lord of the rings english subtitle as to how I can do this, oh and by the way it's the German version of the film.
