You really need to check this event out for yourself! It is the most enjoyable water polo event of the year! This is a safety issue! Please arrange for your athletes and spectators to use the buddy system. Notify event stage and lifeguard staff immediately if anyone is missing! We are using a public VHF marine band channel for the refs to report scores and can advise the Lifeguard Staff which channel that is in order for them to monitor in case of emergency. In addition, we have a PA system for announcements and the usual Hawaiian Reggae mostly! Again, this will be clearly marked. We sincerely hope that this is your most enjoyable and relaxing event of the year! With the years of experience in running this event, we have evolved modified rules to ensure the safety of the participants, and a scheduling and scoring format in order to stay on a schedule.
