The hotel does need some updating but the rooms were clean, warm and contained all you needed for a couple of nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The position was excellent as we arrived late in the dark on a bus and only had to walk a few steps and we were in the warm reception. Ferry terminal only a short distance away! Breakfast had good selection and plenty of it. This is a great place to stay for a few days. On our first morning, we woke up to see a pod of orcas swimming up the passage. The only issue is that the hotel is on a main road, and so while there are great views from the unit, there can also be traffic noise. The service and friendliness of the owners was superb. We loved it and would never hesitate to go back as well as to recommend it to all our family and friends.
