Found sites cramped together, dogs not under control of owners, didn't find water accessible , sani dump is on top of hill and was a mud pit when we were there, it says loop c is first come but found lots had been reserved, like other reviewer said speed limit not enforced and very dangerous for young riders. Try to stay to the east side of loop c for protection from winds. Saw people using water tap to wash hands the same ones we were to use for drinking water. Not enough garbage cans. Not sure I'll be back and if we do it'll be for the fishing. The Campground overall is a nice place to visit.. The reservation process was easy online.. Extremely stinky restrooms! I would go here again in a heartbeat, Great people, clean, nice beach for family.

Stayed here in August , we were in site B1, I would not recommend this site or B0 as it is pretty close to the sewage septic tanks from washroom and at times you get a good whiff of poop smell. Tip for Other Campers: Bring loonies for showers, far from any town,. Good park. But no privacy and no water at the time. Otherwise, good to hike and closed to beach. Victoria Day. The long weekend with the antiquated name, unless you use the more colloquial May Two-Four, marks the unofficial start to summer for Canadians. There are spring cleaning and summer projects, sure, but more importantly BBQs and camping. So familiar are we that some of us cough, cough, me no longer even plan camping trips for the May long weekend, having been disappointed too many times by a moody Mother Nature. This difficult but justified stance has served me well. Or it had, until this year when my curmudgeonly stay-at-home May Two-Four strategy was upended by a spectacularly sunny, pleasant weekend.
