The sole Nornir Chest that can be found in Light Elf Outpost is actually the very first collectible that players can encounter — it is situated above the ground floor when entering the outpost from the beach. It is a late-game side area, and should be attempted only when you have reached at least level 4. You can find it in the north west of the Lake of Nine, nearby the Forgotten Caverns. Just a few steps off shore, you'll run into a Level 5 Ogre and a few Draugr. Focus on taking out the Ogre with your fists to stun it, then ride it to victory against the other enemies. On the right, unlock the mirror available after completing The Magic Chisel and head inside to open a Coffin with some basic loot: 1 Svartfelheim Steel 3 World Serpent Scales. The Nornir Chest is easily visible up on a slope ahead. Destroy the wooden barricade below it to reveal the blue crystal, and have Atreus shoot it to create a bridge. Continue along the path to the right and look at the decrepit remains of a bridge where the seagulls are to find the first rune 'n'. When you continue along the path to, across a few light bridges, nearly to the top, you'll see the last rune, the 'C', in plain view just beyond a chain that will bring you down to open a gate that brings you back near the entrance of this island. Just beyond the 'n' rune, you'll see particles in the air. Interact with it to collect some Dust of the Realms. Continue past here down the chain, ignoring the planks and the cimable wall to your left for now, and continue ahead to find a Chest.

Break the wood with your axe and have Atreus shoot the crystal to reveal a light bridge that leads to the Nornir chest. Walk up the bridge and look to your left.

This particular chest has runes that resemble a "C," an "R", and an "n" upon it, and players will need to destroy the associated seals in order to get the container open. This is a process that fans should be quite familiar with by this point in God of War , though finding the relevant seals can still be difficult. Players should begin by situating themselves directly in front of the Light Elf Outpost Nornir chest. From this position, fans should look out over the gap that is just to the left of the chest, and they should see the R-shaped seal on the side of a cliff that is just in front of them. This seal can be easily destroyed by throwing Kratos's Leviathan Axe at it, and that is exactly what players should do. With the first seal destroyed, God of War players should turn 90 degrees to the right, follow the path that leads past the open gate, and jump across a small gap once they reach it. Fans should turn left once they reach the other side of that gap, and head toward the stone pillars that are emerging from the water in front of them. The n-shaped seal is on a ledge near the top of the stone pillar that is closest to the edge of the walkway.
