Log In Sign Up. After the Battle for Whiterun quest, i was unable to report back to ulfric. No dialog appeared that was related to the battle. I reloaded an old save and did the battle again and i listened to balgruf's long speech. I fast travelled to another location and back but still nothing. Hiw do i fix this? Ps i am a stormcloak. DespicableG - 3 years ago - report. It only happens if you're a Stormcloak, and it's ultimately due to some stupid piece of endlessly looping code for archer salvos during the battle for Whiterun. All that aside, there are a number of things you can try that MAY solve your problem. This won't be an exhaustive list, so if none of them work, you should Google other possible options. One of the most frequently suggested fixes simply says to NOT Fast Travel out of Whiterun once the battle is over and simply run all the way to Windhelm to make your report. Yes, it's a bit time-consuming, but it really does seem to work quite often.
Whiterun Stormcloak Camp. Man it's unbelievable bethesda didn't put any effort into fixing bugs that have been there since
Liberate each of Skyrim's Holds depending upon your choices during Season Unending :. This quest governs the overall progress of the Civil War for the Stormcloaks. It is completed by doing a series of other quests that are assigned to you as the Liberation of Skyrim progresses. The overall goal of the quest is to conquer each hold of Skyrim, one at a time, by taking control of the military fort for each hold. The holds to be conquered are altered by negotiations during Season Unending , and therefore there are many possible ways to complete this quest. One final complication is that when you complete the quest Dragonslayer during the Main Quest , any hold other than Haafingar that you have previously been tasked with liberating is immediately transferred to Stormcloak control.
After returning from the Battle for Whiterun and claiming victory in the name of the Stormcloaks , Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak is pleased that he now controls Whiterun , the center of the province of Skyrim , a position he aims to keep. After completing the "Battle for Whiterun," the Dragonborn is told to report to Ulfric Stormcloak with the news. Elated at the achievement of his newest victory, he presents the Dragonborn with a random enchanted weapon that once belonged to an Imperial Captain and the moniker, "Ice-Veins. However, they are commanded to meet Galmar Stone-Fist at the Stormcloaks' hidden camp in Falkreath for the first of many orders. The quest is actually an overarching quest encompassing a number of subquests in order to take over Imperial -controlled towns, forts and ultimately entire Holds in the name of the Stormcloaks, thus solidifying Ulfric's rule and the freedom of Skyrim. The following quests occur concurrently to "Liberation of Skyrim" and contribute to its completion:. If under Imperial control following " Season Unending ":. The other day I finished the attack on Whiterun and defeated the Jarl. Once I left to report back to Ulfric, the dialog options that I meeded weren't popping up. Now, I will mention that I just had the glitch where the battle music was on a constant cycle. I was looking up a few ways of trying to get rid of it, including letting myself be killed after picking a fight with the guards. I tried leaving the city and traveling back to Whiterun. But eventually the track timed out. I though it was going to start up again, but it didn't. The music has been normal since. So, after dealing with that glitch, I needed to figure out how to get the quest to continue. I looked it up and i saw someone had said something about back to Whiterun and talking to everyone in Dragonsreach.
Thank you youre the best gif
If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest. You also might need to break in for it to work, that's what I did. The Battle for Solitude will initiate. I've tried every solution on this thread and no luck. We have won the war by taking Solitude and killing General Tullius, and have liberated Skyrim from Imperial control. Once the battle is over and things are back to more or less normal in Whiterun, steal something. Good thing I saved prior to the start of the mission and not inbetween. I know this is a dead thread, but hopefully this helps someone who's still running into this in Go to the camp, and enter the large tent and report in to Galmar, he says that the steward in Markarth is secretly a Talos worshipper and you might be able to find some proof and then "convince" him to help the Stormcloaks. Head to the camp and report in to Galmar as usual, he will tell you that you have to deliver some false orders to the imperial legate in Morthal , but first you will have to get some orders to be forged.

Detail Walkthrough : written by Nephele , not checked Reward : written by multiple users, not checked. The Battle for Fort Dunstad. I have tried everything everyone has listed here and none of it has worked for me. How to get house in whiterun? I noticed that Whiterun was still unavailable as a fast travel destination as some comments mentioned. No dialog appeared that was related to the battle. Thanks for the help. The overall goal of the quest is to conquer each hold of Skyrim, one at a time, by taking control of the military fort for each hold. How come no mods option in main menu? In the speech Ulfric will mention you, then go on to thanking the soldiers for all that they have done. No mods installed, but walking directly back to Windhelm from Whiterun solved the bug for me as well. Found that Jarl Ulfric was walking around. This starts The Battle for Fort Kastav.
