Thanks for the info, I think I'll keep looking at other options before I buy anything for now. It cuts way down on field of view. M8 was just the old designation for fixed power scopes. They have been replaced by the FX series. Personally I would try to find a rimfire or adjustable objective model so that the parralax is right or as Jim mentioned send it back, although I have no idea of the cost to do that. If I'm right they were my preference when I used scopes.
