I love skiing fast, so the last bit of the run is always really fun as you drop back into the valley and then have access to chairlifts that take you onwards to Soldeu Cubil. The red Directa run into Pas de la Casa was by far the best run of the day — the snow here was firmer and grippier, and although the top section was spoilt with moguls, the rest of the piste made for a fast, enjoyable ride. What a great week for snow! It's been a really cloudy day here in Pas de la Casa, though this is to be expected seeing as we've some snow on the way! From the top of Pla de les Pedres lift, take the blue Obac Solana run into Soldeu valley and take the Assaladores chairlift. I was up and out before sunrise today, and on the slopes by first lifts. Grandvalira Pas de la Casa is in great shape despite not having any snow for a little while, with a massive km of pistes open, so there are plenty of slopes for everyone to enjoy. Looking at the forecast it looks like the snow is set to continue for the rest of the week, and on Friday and Saturday we may see the sun make a brief reappearance.
