Gloves have had three new base items added, and received changes to three existing implicits. Belts, previously lacking diversity of selection are receiving four new Base Items, as well as changes to four existing Implicits. New Armor sets means new Implicits! February 21st will bring with it twelve new general weapon affixes.

The three main Last Epoch crafting materials you can find on your journey are affixes, glyphs, and runes. Your main resources are the many affix shards your enemies will drop on the ground or found by smashing open barrels and other destructible objects. You can only craft on normal, magic, rare, or exalted items. Your only option at this point is to sell it. An item has one or two set affixes, specifically a prefix and a suffix. You also have a chance to get critical success on any crafting you do in the forge.

With patch 0. These are just like any other magic or rare item except that it has at least one affix which is tier 6 or 7. Exalted items will display as purple on the ground and in your inventory so they will be pretty easy to pick out from the crowd.
