A totally serendipitous visit — twice. The first time, back in the spring of , I had arranged to meet friends for lunch at a different bar near the Puerta de la Carne market. Then it turned out that I was having such a nice time talking to the family who run this very cosy and comfortable bar, that by the time my friends arrived I suggested we stay put.
