Koh Tao boasts a wide range of restaurants that serve international dishes and delicious fusion creations.

If you read this blog, you know one of my go-to places in Thailand is the island of Koh Tao in the Gulf. The reasons are simple: good food and good diving. While it is a somewhat small island, there is no shortage of great Koh Tao restaurants. Due to the last 2 years unfortunately some of my favorite Koh Tao restaurants had to close but I was happy to discover that some have reopened over the last few months. Fingers crossed, the rest will follow…. If you are staying on the island for a longer time I recommend you sign up for the Koh Tao Foodies group on Facebook. Most restaurants in Koh Tao will announce their specials there and you can also buy a lot of cheap, local produce.

What a nice island Koh Tao is! For us and many others the snorkeling and diving paradise of Thailand. We have been here several times already. So many times that we have lost count. At the time of writing June we are already planning our next trip. On Koh Tao you can find so many good restaurants and bars that we have made a small selection of our personal favorite restaurants that are also highly rated on several review sites. The best French cuisine, a great selection of wines, superb cheeses, delicacies and plenty of amazing dishes can be found at The Garden Restaurant in Mae Haad near Sairee Beach , Koh Tao. It is located in the heart of Koh Tao, at the corner of the junction to Aow Leuk and Tanote Bay and is the place where you can enjoy the lunch and decent dinner atmosphere like a god of France!

The food here is fantastic, as are all the staff.

At The Gallery Restaurant we offer a unique dining experience like no other. Trust the Chef. We only offer one sitting each night, for which reservations are absolutely essential, at least one full day in advance. We do not offer delivery or takeaway and there is no a la carte option. You should definitely go for their signature curry served in a whole coconut and a few pineapple basil martinis! They offer several ocean view rooms, highly recommended!
