Kingsgate tennis club is a family-friendly and affordable tennis club in a beautiful setting by the Itchen navigation canal, kingsgate lawn tennis club. The club is just a short distance from Winchester city centre. In addition to a superb range of tennis, members enjoy the many social events which take place throughout the year.

We are a family friendly and affordable Club in a beautiful setting by The Itchen Navigation, a short distance from Winchester City centre and with easy parking. We have six well-maintained courts with a new artifical surface which is very kind to knees. Two of the courts have floodlights. We have two full-time coaches who coach both individually and in groups. Please contact David on or Tim on for information and availability. We run 4 regular mix-ins in the week during the summer months, and two day-time mix-ins all year round. We have at least 5 teams playing in both the summer and winter leagues, plus we run club tournaments, a singles box league and we have a group for those wanting to find other players for informal games.

The Kingston Tennis Club is a seasonal community club that is open to people of all ages and abilities. We are devoted to promoting the sport of tennis and we provide facilities and programming to support the game, bringing together people of diverse backgrounds in a healthy and low-cost activity. We provide affordable summer activities for juniors through our summer tennis camps. Retired seniors maintain social and physical activity through regular games of doubles tennis. Families regularly play both together and with other members, facilitating multi-generational interaction. We hold monthly tennis socials that include tennis games followed by dinner, and we host several club tournaments. Certified teaching pros offer individual and group lessons to both adults and juniors; our junior tennis camps provide additional learning opportunities for children aged 6 to Our club's activities link to the values of physical literacy and the Long-Term Athlete Development model actively promoted by the province of Ontario and the Canadian Sport for Life program. Many adult and junior club members also volunteer their time to contribute to the club's operation.
