To book this service you must be a KC Sofas customer with a recent order or delivery. You will need to attach a copy of your order or delivery note so we can verify that you are a KC Sofas customer. On the day of collection, we will send a two-person team to collect your old sofas, which can be inside or outside of your property. Once we have removed the sofas and they have arrived at a licensed facility for recycling and processing, you will receive a notification by email. Organise the items that you have chosen for collection and group them all together. These can be left indoors if you will be present at your property for your collection, but we recommend that the items are left outside so we can access them without disturbing you. Once we are on our way to your property, we will send you an SMS to keep you informed but we may not be able to provide a specific time ahead of the collection. Please ensure that we can access your items. Once we have collected your items, they will be transferred to one of our approved Commerical Waste Transfer Stations and you will be sent a Waste Transfer Note. This will record the location of your items, the vehicle used to remove them, and the total percentage that was recycled or diverted from landfill. Operating from over unique locations and keeping our teams local ensures that we operate a low-carbon model. With a large in-house fleet of over vehicles and almost directly employed staff, you can trust us to handle your rubbish responsibly.
