When and why did you start training for fighting?

Jinh Yu Frey born May 20, is an American mixed martial artist and currently competes in the strawweight division. Frey was born in Arkansas and grew up in Texas. She then earned her associate degree in nuclear medicine from Amarillo College. Her father is South Korean, and he died when she was young. She has one older brother, two younger half brothers and one younger half sister. Jinh Yu Frey's first fight was against Jodie Esquibel which she lost via decision.

In November, Jinh Yu Frey suffered her quickest defeat to date, losing by knockout 47 seconds into round one against Polyana Viana. A defeat in that fashion can not only leave a fighter with physical damage, but also the emotional kind. Back home, Frey spent valuable time with her family during the holidays and recharged her batteries ahead of Saturday's Full Fight Card Preview. This time around, fight camp looked similar, but felt completely different.

After a strong opening round, the year-old former Invicta FC atomweight champion started to fade, and midway through the third, Hansen looked up an armbar and forced Frey to tap. Even when she began competing, first as an amateur and then after turning pro, Frey never intended to put her non-pugilistic pursuits aside in favor of a career as a professional fighter. Enjoyment turned into a competitive drive, which produced improvements and positive results. Things just kept building from there.
