I also trust the Holy Spirit to use anything I post for the specific individuals for whom He has inspired what was written.

It is the sad truth that we "children" turn to the Lord more in dark times and we are more open to dependence on Him. The longer I live, the more I am finding out that Life is a journey through the good and the bad, the successes and the failures, which are all part of life and part of our own growth in becoming the person we are meant to be. We can appreciate love better after we have experienced the opposite. The lessons that we learn from such experiences allow us to better understand who we really are, what we love to do, Whose we really are, and why we have been sent here in the first place! Let my words be seasoned rightly and my steps guided by Your Spirit. Amen Brie! I just knew that cake would turn out beautiful! So grateful. Sometime this weekend, I will update all of you on my DH - he's doing well, which is the main thing to know. The peace, love, and joy that You have given me is so uplifting. Agreeing with my sisters in this prayer. Most vegetation, the little that there is, gets its moisture from underground, some plants from precious overnight dew some deserts do get temperatures below freezing. Praising God and putting Jesus first has turned our lives and gives us breathing room. Not so must you act. He knows we are poor in spirit, desperate in our need of Him, absolutely totally dependent on Him even for our very next breath. You are the One who chases after us, who follows us with gentleness and love, the One who sees us when we feel lonely, or when we just need to be reminded that You are so close.
