The Space Year continues and spreads out to another theme: Creator. But that's not the only thing this set contributes to it. This set not only is a tribute to the history of mankind's step into space but also a nod to Space in LEGO form. When I started doing a bit of research it really got interesting. The Submodel of a Space dog isn't just a cute model but remembrance to and recognition of the first living being in space. Some of you might have heard of Laika , that got into space in , which was a big step for science. So I like to look at this model with this point of view, too.
