The indoor latch will automatically switch to the left unlocked position by opening the door using the indoor latch only, a safety feature designed to allow for emergency exit purposes. When the door has been closed with the indoor latch in the unlocked position, you may lock the camper from the outside by inserting the key and turning it all the way to the left before removing the key.
