Jamf recon
Right now jamf recon of our Mac's are running the Recon tool. How do we install Recon on all of our Mac's? We'd like a script we can run on each, that would be the best method.
We have a Catalina upgrade script that allow users to defer the installation for 1, 2, and 3 hours, checks for free space on the HD and for computer power status skips laptops not plugged in to PS and systems with less than 20GB usable space. Policy is set as recurring check-in, once every day, executed at 4PM client-side limitations. I flush the policy on that system, run sudo Jamf policy, I see the same prompts deferral , and Same script. I have modified the policy, removing the 4PM setting, still nothing. Flushing the policy and running sudo Jamf policy works again.

Following on from the removal of Remote which was unbelievably useful and has no replacement, Recon has been removed and with it my ability to create a QuickAdd package to add a system into JAMF which is already set up and in operation. All of the computers I'm talking about are in ASM, and they are now assigned to JAMF the point being, however, that they were not set up that way originally. There was previously no need for them to be in an MDM due to their environment and use, but now there is, however, short of erasing them, quickadd would have allowed us to add them in and gain MDM management. Yes, quickadd was not perfect but it was a fix to this sort of situation. Yes, erasing a functioning system to enroll it is less than ideal, but it's not something you'd be doing to the same machine over and over. You do it once and carry on.
