His daily-changing chalkboard menu might include pan-fried gurnard fillets with parsley, a blood-rare bavette and chips, roasted quails with a nutty almond and cauliflower puree, apricots and girolles, or caesar salad with guinea fowl and truffle. In , long-established Kensington restaurant Whits moved to an unassuming parade in Walmer. Staff, service and food were all first class! At the heart of Posillipo is our commitment to family traditions. Inspired by their shared passion for Italian gastronomy, they embarked on a journey to bring the flavours of their homeland to the world. We visited on a Sunday, the roast was very good. Service was fabulous and social distancing was adhered to, the food was also amazing. Absolutely fantastic evening! Nice touches, like a small cup of soup before dinner was great. Fresh meat from Kent butchers, fresh fish and seafood from the English Channel, cheeses from Canterbury, soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits made from across Kent.
