Having been very excited about the opening of an Istanbul restaurant on Allerton Road, given how amazing the food was when we visited their restaurant in Woolton, experience exceeded expectation. My husband and I initially just popped in for a drink, whereby Guven, the owner After tasting these we immediately booked for dinner, which given it being their first weekend open, was very busy. All food is cooked fresh, so when I asked for one of the many dips that accompanied the meal to be made more spicy, just to suit my taste, it was taken away immediately and returned in minutes with a spicy hit. The wine is well chosen for the food and very reasonably priced. Our waitress, Lindsey was so personable and also a member of this family run restaurant. Having lived in Calderstones since , I can say that this is easily the best restaurant to open on Allerton Road for a very long time, I cannot recommend it highly enough! The service was friendly and attentive - as it was Halloween all the waitresses had dressed up for the occasion and this added to the great atmosphere.
