With the recent Peace Journalism Conference and institutional initiatives along those lines at our Faculty, it seems that we have also become a contributor to a what is fast becoming a Faculty tradition. Yet, a radically plural and democratic politics must harbor conflicting and antagonistic views of things; opposition is internal to it; and its view of freedom says that freedom is always the freedom of those who think differently.
