Immediately behind the beach are bushy dunes that are popular cruising spots in their own right. There are two ways to get to Es Cavallet: Drive. Or take a bus from Ibiza Town. Previously, it was possible to take the boat from Figueretas Beach, but this service is no longer available. Peak season is July and August. However, June, September and early October are great months to visit, with plenty of sunshine and a much more relaxed and chilled-out vibe, and the beach still attracts hundreds of gay sunbathers.
