Our RN Nurse Residency Program builds upon previous undergraduate nursing education and clinical competencies. The month program includes a centralized onboarding process and orientation, department-specific content and skill development, preceptor and leadership support. Residents attend seminars designed to address specific transitions through the first year of practice as a novice nurse.

For the past 40 years, we have offered a Graduate Medical Education program — a unique feature for a not-for-profit community hospital. Our program includes an internal medicine residency and a general surgery residency. Nearly 1, medical and surgical residents have taken advantage of performing their residency in this community-based environment, complemented by rotations through Los Angeles County USC Medical Center.
