Michael Edlavitch, a middle school math teacher in Minneapolis, Minnesota, wanted a more engaging way to teach his students. As the site grew, Michael began to think about how to fund its upkeep. I think it's important to have free educational resources to create equitable learning for schools and students of all income levels. Searching online, I found Google AdSense and realized we could have a free site funded by ads. With traffic increasing, Hooda Math's ad revenue rapidly grew as well. Over the years, Michael explored other ad tech offerings but decided to stick with AdSense.

Hooda Slice It Instructions To play an online game where a knife is propelled forward with each space bar press or screen click to slice objects like fruit, blocks, and pencils and earn points to unlock new knives, follow these steps. First, select your preferred game that offers this unique slicing mechanic. Once you've made your choice, install the game on your device, whether it's a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and launch it. In the game's main menu, you will typically find various options to explore. The Play option is where the actual gameplay begins. In this type of game, your knife will be launched forward with each press of the space bar or screen click. You'll need to aim your knife accurately to slice the objects that appear on the screen. Points are earned for each successful slice. While playing, try to avoid missing objects or hitting obstacles, as these may reduce your score or bring the game to an end. The objective is to accumulate points as you slice through the objects that come your way.
