When you download and install it, honeycomb yoke driver, you obviously get the Aerosoft ASUpdater installed i dont want it!! When you scroll further down, you see a screenshot of the Honeycomb Configurator, but NO download button for that you can only submit a support ticket.
Noticed that my community folder was wiped out with last update. Need the lights! I had the same problem. Try Edge - that worked for me other browsers may work too of course. Did Honeycomb do something to fix the lights and other switches problems?

Or does Windows recognize it as a usual HID with several axis and buttons? If so, why do many people use a special software? You do not need any drivers and there are no Honeycomb-specific drivers. There is one caveat, which is that it has 35 buttons, so the last three positions of the magneto switch will not be visible to FSX.
So I was super excited to finally get my honeycomb alpha and bravo. You would think that since Honeycomb is am official partner of MSFS that Honeycombs equipment would be mostly plug and play and away you go. Not even close to reality. You do need to setup the different engine profiles and you can customize the buttons on the alpha that are not already programmable. I recently contacted Honeycomb regarding the instructions for installing the driver and assigning the switches to the proper functions of the aircraft lighting and electrical in P3D XPlane works great. Any idea when we can expect an updated working version of the software?

I've learned to unplug that USB from the back of the Alpha, otherwise it would get bent. You are right there are some buttons mapped that don't exist, but I have never lost comms with it. I can't say what's going on with Quality Wings, but I can tell you that while always polite, all my attempts to work with them in the past have never, ever panned out even after email discussions and face to face meetings. Throughout I haven't been able to fault the yoke except for the strength of the self centering in pitch - way to strong for comfortable flying IMHO. Previously I had a temporary Logic3 joystick which only used the default allocations, so at least there was a good starting point. Well only to get the LED lights working and that was it.
