As a child I remember having chocolate ornaments hanging on the Christmas tree and what a wonderful treat it was being allowed to choose one to eat! These chocolate Christmas tree ornaments are fun to make. Break up your dark chocolate bar and place it in a double boiler under medium heat. Stir occasionally with a spatula as chocolate melts. Just a rough estimate is good enough! When your chocolate has melted and turned to liquid, take a spoon and dribble a bit in the bottom of your first silicone cavity, until the base is covered. Immediately after, drop layers of nuts, trying to leave a small nut-free space at the very center this makes it easier to string your chocolates for hanging.
