We drove by the farm at the beginning of April and there was nothing to see. We were disappointed thinking they were out of business But lo and behold!
Very negative experience I ordered a ton of bulbs from them all came with mold and the box was and bulbs were calling with aphids. I don't recommend at all. Posted on July 18, , updated July 18, I have no idea how this company survives. I ordered 1 mixed bag of 3 bleeding hearts and 1 mixed bag of 3 toad lilies. The red bleeding heart was completely disintegrated that there was no root in the bag. I found 2 completely dried up toad lilies in the other bag.

HBF is a Ripoff I bought a water lily rhizome complete with pot and soil. As advertised, all I had to do was place it in the pond. Long story short, nothing grew. It may have been cooked in transit, but it's hard to say They put me off with various excuses for 9 weeks, apparently hoping I would give up. Gimme a break. Holland Bulb Farms will remain forever on my "do not buy" list. Criminal Company tries to steal your money! I ordered stock and three of four items were flat out incorrect. They shine you on, asking for photos when I had already sent them with the first mailing. Three months later and TWO complaints with the Better Business Bureau, plus threatening them with bad reviews, they finally paid, refunding one item first and then finally, under duress, the remaining two.
I wish I'd read the reviews on this site first before placing the order. But one would think items should come in reasonable condition and able to survive.

They said they need to see the pictures before researching any solution.

So sorry about these errors, we certainly would not want to send you 2 orders with bulbs you were not satisfied with. Over the years I've ordered many bulbs from Holland Bulb and I have always been more than happy with them. The red bleeding heart was completely disintegrated that there was no root in the bag. Well I looked them today. I placed my order a week ago, and a few days later, it was delivered to my doorstep. Add new contacts. We certainly don't condone any of our employees speaking in a way that would upset our customers, we also do not condone any customer who may verbally abuse our customer service representatives. I'm so sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the service you received from our company. I planted everything out in the garden immediately upon arrival in spring. Every single one of them was packaged professionally, and ended up being what I ordered. I am quite angry.
