As a result, her frailty disheartened her father, which made Hinata lose her position to Hanabi. Hinata's strained relationship with her father caused her to lose more faith in herself and she would often spend her time alone, crying. It wasn't until she met Naruto that her perception changed drastically: On a snowy day in March, while preparing to enroll at the Academy , Hinata was degraded by a group of three bullies for her Byakugan.
