Minions are the lifeblood of any Hearthstone Battlegrounds build, but some of them are more important than others. These are the minions that make or break your entire build when you find them thanks to their sheer power. Here are ten minions that can and often do easily warp the Battlegrounds around themselves. Certain Tier 7 minions would make this list, but they appear so rarely that they have been excluded from this list. A massive boost to Kalecgos, Arcane Aspect came when its effect was changed to activate whenever you triggered a Battlecry, rather than just playing one. As a result, any extra triggers you get from a minion like Brann Bronzebeard will also buff your board.

With new minion tribes being added regularly, it can be difficult for players to figure out which are the strongest. Pirates are in an interesting place in Hearthstone Battlegrounds. After losing their most powerful minion, Cap'n Hoggarr, in Season 4, they have lost their ability to scale effectively. If players find themselves in a lobby with Pirates and Mechs, choosing Pirates in this lobby would almost be guaranteed an instant loss, as Mechs are able to outscale Pirates pretty easily. They also have a major weakness in their inability to easily deal with Divine Shield minions, with no easy access to a minion with cleave.
