By preacherdad. How do I find out about event timing? Boss events are easy as there are sites that list them, but there are other events I need to play to complete a collection that I can't find out the timing on. I just have to visit the location until I happen to pop in at the right time. There has to be a better way. Are you referring to meta events? Not all events are on a fixed timer, some reset a certain amount of time after they were last completed or failed, some depend on other events being completed first or other conditions being met for example some events will only occur when an area is under enemy control and some appear to be semi-random. Sometimes it's a bit of both - for example world bosses are on a timer but there's also pre-events which need to be completed first. It doesn't happen very often these days but early on I remember seeing maps where the boss didn't spawn because too many people waited at the spawn point and no one went to complete the pre-events. The Wiki will show a schedule for the events which are on a timer, but it will also explain other conditions.

King of the Jungle is the map meta event in Tangled Depths. All four outposts have been established and now the Order of Whispers is trying to fire a cannon into Dragon's Stand to bring the fight to Mordremoth , but they must protect the cannons from the most powerful kind of Chak , the Legendary Chak Gerent , to do so. The event to spawn the Legendary Chak Gerent happens every 20 minutes past the hour, at a 2 hour interval rate. Once the 20 minute timer reaches its end, two timers will pop up once more, both having 5 minutes each; giving the people a heads-up that the Gerent is about to spawn. The goal in each is to use the lane's special mechanics to spawn the Chak Gerent and then to kill it.

Upon the dragon's defeat, the Frost Chest will spawn for players. There are two phases to the event. The first takes place on a hill shortly after [Group Event] Lure out the Claw of Jormag by destroying the final dragon crystal 80 is completed, and requires destroying the dragon's ice wall in order to reach it.
