Just after a. Sunday, troopers responded to Green Stinger Sports Bar for a reported shooting in the parking lot. Troopers were informed that the suspect was in the parking lot pointing a gun at people. Troopers located the suspect, identified as year-old Terry Bratton, in the parking lot, armed with a gun. It was also learned that a year-old Lincoln man was being treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound to his arm. Preliminary investigation revealed that Brotton and several others got into an argument inside the bar. When the bar was closing, the group reportedly continued the argument in the parking lot, at which point Bratton pulled a gun out and shot the victim. Bratton was charged with first degree assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, six counts of first degree reckless endangerment, four counts of terroristic threatening, and possession of a firearm while under the influence.

Paul Casarotto, co-owner of the Green Stinger restaurants in Smyrna and Woodside, wrote a series of posts Monday in the Smyrna Clayton Residents Facebook page where he explained that masks aren't mandatory at his Smyrna facility. Casarotto is co-owner of both Green Stinger restaurants with his father, also named Paul Casarotto Sr. His father confirmed that his son made the Facebook posts. The Dover Post reached out to the younger Casarotto, but he said he couldn't make any comments until he gets approval from his attorney. Paul Casarotto Sr. But he said his son has the freedom to operate the Smyrna restaurant — where his son doubles as co-owner and general manager — however he sees fit.
