Their destructive brawl put Miles in danger, and after being knocked off a platform, Spider-Man saved him. Later, Fisk's second enforcer, the Prowler, engaged Spider-Man as well, as they fought across the Collider's chamber. As Fisk activated the machine, Goblin made a final attempt to kill Spider-Man by forcing him into the colliding energy beams, which caused it to malfunction, resulting in a huge explosion that caused a disruption across the multiverse, opening portals in other dimensions that pulled several alternate spider-themed heroes into their universe. The damage done to the Collider caused debris to crush Goblin underweight, killing him. However, his actions wounded Spider-Man, who was finished off by Kingpin, therefore in death, Osborn succeeded in defeating his nemesis.
