When the heartbroken saiyan came home, he sees Chi-Chi slap his youngest son so he made a wish on the on the Dragon Balls in order to protect Goten and himself. Goku let out a groan as his eyes struggled to open against the pain in his head. Everything was blurry, and he couldn't make anything out in his surroundings. It took a few minutes for his vision to clear up, and he looked around in confusion. He was kneeling on a raised circular platform with a thin cushion just barely protecting his knees from the hard surface underneath.
