Hi i wanted to start a thread regarding trends that include flexing or showing biceps. Thesw videos usually follow the sme scheme: its always a special song and the girls show their stuff. Examples are the rasputin dance, 6 feet tall and super strong, that rollin in the deep stuff and more. I might add more lates. No issue with that at all when it comes to bodybuilding or strength sports, but I have watched some of her BJJ competitions, and she is just massive compared to her opponents, even if they compete in a similar weight division. I'd like to point out that when it comes to sports like BJJ where you have a lot of contact, strength is really important. So it is essential to also strength train and build up some muscle when going up to compete. Technique alone is of no use if your opponent is just plain buffed up and strong. There's a sweet spot you get after trading off between agility, muscle and flexibility which is ideal for competition. If each competitor trains to find their own such sweet spot, then matches could be 'fair' and decided by technique rather than anything else. Hmmm maybe I got it wrong, but there are plenty of female mma pro-fighters no matter if UFC or ONE who are very well defined and in great physical shape Holly Holm comes into my mind.
