The Company is also pleased to have recently received galantas gold planning permission to drill eight boreholes from three locations within the mine site. The holes will target a southern portion of the main Joshua Vein. Mario Stifano, CEO of Galantas, galantas gold, commented: "It's exciting to note that a strong north-south trending resistor was identified at the Cornavarrow target, with a similar signal to that generated over a gold-bearing structure close to the mine in
Galantas owns and recently operated a producing open pit gold mine near Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The mine also produces by-product silver and lead. A metals concentrate is produced by safe, non-toxic processing and sold under contract. Following the granting of planning permission, the company continues to mine underground with around three kilometres of underground development completed so far. Development on-vein produces feed for the processing plant. Results from the current drilling program are encouraging with vein targets planned to extend the resource.

Drill mobilization has commenced for an initial metre program targeting the Kerry Road deposit, including testing the depth potential of near surface mineralization. Historical drill hole data obtained from logs written by Consolidated Gold Fields Limited in and , scanned copies supplied by the British Geological Survey. The drill program aims to target the mineralized outcrops at Kerry Road, testing the deposit down dip southeastwards as well as the lateral extension to the northeast and southwest. This stratigraphic hole will provide Galantas with better understanding of the local geology, as well as test for other sulphide horizons expected to be found in the area based on the knowledge of other similar deposits around the world. The Gairloch Project offers a fantastic opportunity for Galantas to diversify and build its portfolio having acquired some of the best exploration ground in the country in a gold-bearing volcanogenic massive sulphide VMS setting with known mineralization over 10 km and a number of high-priority targets that have yet to be tested. It is one of the oldest known Besshi deposits. The Kerry Road deposit was discovered by Consolidated Goldfields in the s where 87 holes were drilled over 9, metres. Rock chip sampling conducted by GreenOre in also identified elevated levels of cobalt in bedrock. The Kerry Road deposit lies within the Gairloch Schist Belt, a Paleoproterozic volcanic arc terrane extending over 25 km. The unit of interest is a quartz carbonate schist with the main minerals being chalcopyrite, sphalerite, pyrite and pyrrhotite.

The work will include petrology, scanning electron microscope SEM and electron microprobe EMP analysis on selected rock samples. This sampling work is expected to help identify new target areas for follow-up exploration work and drilling. The green energy transition will require significant amounts of metals such as copper, zinc and cobalt to enable the growth of clean technologies, electric vehicles and renewables. The Kerry Road copper-zinc-gold deposit at the Gairloch Project is classified as a Besshi-type VMS deposit, which is associated with cobalt enrichment. This makes the Kerry Road deposit an important potential resource for the future. VMS deposits are rarely solitary and typically exhibit multiple mineralized bodies in each system. These systems are formed through hydrothermal activity, which alters the surrounding rock and leaves a geochemical signature or alteration halo which can be detected through certain types of detailed analysis and observations. Each mineral deposit will have its own unique geochemical signature based on the composition of the local rock. Representative footwall, ore horizon and hanging-wall samples from drill core and outcrops have been collected for petrography, mineral chemistry, and whole-rock geochemical analysis.
